Based on the ballet Swan Lake, The Swan Princess is Rich Animation Studios first animated feature film. It tells the story of a princess who is kidnapped and cursed turning her into a swan by day. In several scenes that involve a crowd of people the background characters do not move, making the front characters the only animated ones.
